International Women's Cricket
Our women's national cricket team returned to international cricket in with a roar 2024 after a brief hiatus from international cricket .
Impressive results against Estonia, Czechia and Croatia in their first year back saw the Gibraltar women international team finish 30th in the T20 international world rankings.
The team continue to impress travelling around Europe playing T20i games. The team travelled to the Women's Central Europe Cup in June 2025 where Gibraltar competed against the Czech Republic and Austria. Then visited Estonia in August winning two out of the three fixtures.
Our aim is to make an appearance on the world stage in the Women World Cup European qualifers starting in 2017,
Domestic Cricket
Join in our weekly indoor softball cricket games which are ideal for anyone looking to try cricket. All are welcome each Tuesday evening in the indoor cricket hall at Europa Point Stadium.
Playing indoor softball and cricket offers numerous physical, mental, and social benefits, largely due to the ability to participate year-round in a controlled and safe environment.
An introduction to hard ball cricket is available to anyone wishing to make the step up to play in local women's leagues and who knows? For the national side one day.....
The women's T20 league is made up of the Wicket Warriors and Northern Defenders teams who compete each autumn for the women's domestic league title.
